The major motion picture “Home from Home”, realized by the German director Edgar Reitz, was premiered by us in the vicinity of the original locations in Simmern in the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate and presented to the German public two days later at the Prinzregententheater in Munich. A complete movie theater was installed in the municipal multifunctional hall in Simmern, equipped with a top-grade digital projection system with a 4k resolution and Dolby-Surround 5.1 audio technology. A projection booth was erected in Simmern for the sound- and climate-proof accommodation of one main and one backup projector.
