Those of our employees who drive trucks participate in training courses for environmentally conscious driving in regular intervals, resulting in an approx. 10% reduction of the Diesel fuel consumption of our truck fleet. This is particularly beneficial for our environmental balance, but also contributes to our economic balance sheet. The logistics planning process is furthermore fine-tuned to ensure that projects in the same region and during the same timeframe will be supplied using one-and-the-same transport vehicle. This helps to essentially reduce the burden on our environment, but makes longer downtimes for our vehicles and an intermediate storage of our technical equipment inevitable. For us, the relationship with our employees is another essential element of sustainability. We actively support and encourage our employees in their professional development by drafting a continuously updated further education schedule not only for the employees, but also for our apprentices. “Lifelong learning” for us is an essential element of sustainable human resources management.
